The evening of Day 13

When talking to the neurosurgeon, he mentioned a small blood clot in Lauren's brain. It will probably dissolve on its own. More importantly, he said even though it would take a long time and a lot of work, recovery is possible.

She hadn't been moving her left leg as of late.

Her blood sugar level remains stable.

She has been moving around quite a bit today, particularly her left arm, which at one point was a concern of the doctors. At first, she wasn't moving it very much. This was another answered prayer. We have been told not to read too much into her movements, good or bad, at this time. We're just glad she's moving.

At times, she has her eyes open and it seems as if she sees us through a fog. She's not really conscious, but there occasionally seems to be some connections when she looks at us.

Please pray for:
Her left leg
The blood blister
The blood clot
No infections
A complete recovery
