Progress

We feel it's important to look back and see how far we've come.
Early on, doctors told my parents Lauren was as close to death as one could get. Last Thursday, another doctor said we should have buried her today.
She has cheated death.
Although Lauren's progress is slow, and it will continue to be for some time, we are thankful for how far we've come. She is still alive. She is still with us.
