Lauren's day out

Everyday, Lauren walks a little farther, eats a little more, and strengthens muscles that are weak. Her progress is steady.

Lauren made the long car trip up to Grove City today for her family reunion in Grove City, which is about an hour from Pittsburgh. This was her first big trip since the accident. She doesn't appear to have any fears riding in a car.

The doctors feel it best if Lauren stay for another four weeks. Their goal is for her to walk out of the institute, and for her to be as independent as possible. We all share this goal.

Keep Lauren and her family in prayer. We still have a long way to go!

Hi to Lauren and all the family.
I work with Mary and originally hail from your neck of the woods - Titusville, PA. My mom went to Edinboro in the 70's. My dad lives on 408 in Hydetown.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Lauren as she speeds toward recovery. She will be on the prayer list at the Titusville United Methodist church and Pleasantville Presbyterian.

God bless - Dawnette
