Today Lauren's feeding tube was removed! You should have seen the faces of the staff at the shock trauma surgeon's office when they saw her. They were wonderful to her.
She is doing well with all her outpatient therapies.
Please pray for her that she would have no complications from the removal of the feeding tube and that her voice would get stronger. I do believe it is getting stronger every day. Thanks everyone!

Wow...I haven't checked the blog in over a week, and what delightful news to read! God is definitley doing great things here!
My son, Trent, was in Ms. Smilek's class this past year, and he has been very concerned about her and her little sister. :) We are so glad to hear how well she is doing. We will continue to pray...
