No Vocal Chord Damage

Lauren went to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist today because her voice is still pretty weak. Her speech therapist would not work on her volume until it's clear there was no damage to the vocal chords. She was so scared to go, but she did. Dustin was with her and it was a great comfort to her and to us because it helped her so much.
Since I last wrote, she has had root canal on a front tooth that was damaged in the accident and will have to have bonding done on several more teeth that were chipped.
She continues to go to Healthsouth for physical and occupational therapy. When they get the results of her visit to the ENT, they will resume speech therapy.
Please don't forget about her. She still needs prayer and support. Brain injury takes a long time to see what you really have.
She is basically happy; easily frustrated, but working very hard to get her life back. Soon she will celebrate her 20th birthday. Thanks to all who love and care for her.
