Some good news

Lauren has been wearing a neck brace since the accident. It was just a precaution; she has no neck injury. Today, it was removed.

A tube was inserted into her side to re-inflate the collapsed lung. That has also been removed.

Her blood sugar level has been good since yesterday, I believe. She is now being checked every two hours. This is another answer to prayer.

The tracheotomy is scheduled for noon Friday. Pray this all goes well.

My mom has befriended a woman who has also been camped out in the ICU. Her mother is having serious respiratory issues. I know nothing else about this, but please include June, the woman's mother, in your prayers.
