We are all overwhelmed by the love and prayers we've received. Some people have felt bad, not knowing what to say, but just being there and praying has meant more than you'll ever know. Thank you all.
Most everybody at Hamot has been truly wonderful us all. They've gone out of their way to accommodate our large family, and some have really taken to Lauren. A few nurses check this blog for updates on Lauren's status. Thank you all for doing a wonderful job on a person that means so much to us.
We are by no means done here. Although we are grateful for being past the point of not knowing if Lauren will survive, we are heading into unknown territory. How well Lauren does "depends on her and the Man upstairs," as one doctor put it. This will need as much prayer as anything else we've requested.
This blog will stay up throughout Lauren's rehabilitation. The updates should be fairly frequent as I will be seeing Lauren and my parents almost daily for the next two months.
Thanks to all whom have passed this web page along to friends and family. I'm amazed at how far it's reached and how many hits we've received.
God bless you all. Keep up the good work!
